Is PollSlide a good Mentimeter alternative?
Yes, if you want to keep presenting from your own slides. PollSlide adds live polls, quizzes, surveys and Q&A on top of Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides or a PDF, instead of asking you to rebuild your presentation in a new editor. If you would rather build everything inside one interactive tool, Mentimeter is a strong choice.
Can I keep using my PowerPoint or Keynote slides?
Yes. Paste your poll's QR code onto any slide and your audience answers on their phones. On a Mac, the free PollSlide companion floats live results over your slideshow — Keynote, PowerPoint or a PDF — and shows the right poll when that slide is on screen.
Does Mentimeter work inside PowerPoint?
Yes. Mentimeter offers a PowerPoint add-in for the desktop app on all its plans; according to its help center it does not run in PowerPoint online. PollSlide's PowerPoint add-in, PollSlide LIVE, is in Microsoft Marketplace and runs in PowerPoint on Windows, Mac and the web, and the QR-on-slide method works in PowerPoint too.
