The bit most flashcard apps get wrong
Spaced repetition works โ but only if you keep opening the app. So PollSlide puts the habit first: a streak you don't want to break, a mastery bar you want to finish, and games short enough to play while the kettle boils. Every one of them is real revision underneath.
๐ฅ A streak worth protecting
Study anything โ any set, any mode โ and your streak grows. Miss a day and it's gone, which is precisely why it works. One streak across everything you're learning, not one per subject.
The habit loop๐ A bar you want to finish
Every card moves Learning โ Familiar โ Mastered as it survives longer and longer gaps. You're not staring at an "ease factor of 2.35" โ you're watching a bar go green, and wanting the rest of it.
The collection loopโก Beat the Clock
Sixty seconds. How many can you get right? There's a personal best sitting there that you will, inevitably, want to beat. Perfect for the two minutes you actually have.
Best for: short bursts, exam cramming๐ช Climb the Ladder
Ten rungs of rising stakes with two lifelines and safe havens along the way. Bank what you've earned or push for the top โ the decision is the fun, and the revision happens anyway.
Best for: a proper session with some tension๐ฒ Pick-a-Card Board
Choose your squares game-show style. Here's the quiet trick: a card's value comes from how well you know it, so the expensive squares are the ones you keep forgetting. It steers you at your weak spots while feeling like free choice.
Best for: study groups, or a big screenStill real studying underneath
The games aren't a break from revision โ they are the revision.
๐ง One scheduler, four modes
Every mode feeds the same spaced-repetition scheduler. Get a card right in Beat the Clock and it's pushed further into the future; get it wrong and it comes back sooner. Nothing you do is wasted.

๐ฑ Nothing to install
Learners open a link or scan a QR. No account, no app, no setup โ and the cards appear in their own language.
โ๏ธ Syncs when you're signed in
Studying your own material? Progress, streak and mastery follow you between phone and laptop. Anonymous learners stay anonymous โ no login is ever forced.
๐ฉโ๐ซ Or share it with a class
Send the set to a group and watch mastery build live on your dashboard โ see which cards the room keeps getting wrong.
๐ Read aloud & reminders
Cards can be read out, and you can drop your next review into your calendar so the habit survives a busy week.
Questions
Is this basically Anki?
The scheduling idea is the same โ proven spaced repetition, showing you a card just before you'd forget it. The difference is everything around it: a streak, a mastery bar, three games, no install for learners, and one-click conversion from a quiz you already made.
Do the games actually help me learn?
Yes โ they use the same cards and the same scheduler as normal review. The only thing that changes is the framing and the scoring. The Board even adapts: high-value squares are the cards you know least well.
Do learners need an account?
No. Studying needs no login at all โ progress is saved in their browser. If you are signed in (because it's your own material), progress syncs across your devices as a bonus.
Can I use it with a class?
Yes. Share the set and each learner studies at their own pace, while your dashboard shows overall mastery and the cards the group finds hardest.
Is it free?
Yes, the free plan runs real study sets. Paid plans lift limits on saved sets, audience size and AI question generation. See pricing.
