Is there really a free plan?▾
Yes — fully functional, no credit card required. You get 3 presentations and 25 participants per poll. For occasional use or trying the product, free is enough.
What counts as a "participant"?▾
One person scanning the QR and submitting at least one answer counts as one participant. The cap is per session — reset the tally before each presentation to start fresh.
Can I change plans at any time?▾
Yes. Upgrade whenever you need more. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data is always preserved.
Do I need the Mac app?▾
The free Mac companion app — which floats live results over any presentation (Keynote, PowerPoint, a PDF) and auto-detects your QR — is included on every plan including Free. It is optional; your audience can always scan and answer without it.
What is Polly AI?▾
Polly is PollSlide's AI assistant — she generates complete sets of questions (and slide images) on any topic in seconds. Every plan includes Polly: Free gets 5 generations a month (images count too), Pro 20, Team Small 100, and Team Large 300.
What if I run out of Polly generations?▾
Buy a credit pack any time — 20 credits for $8, 100 for $30, 200 for $50, or 500 for $100. Credits never expire and roll over month to month, and we always use your plan's monthly allowance first, so credits are only spent once that's gone.
Does my team share one account?▾
On the Team plans, each member has their own login under a shared workspace with a shared question & deck library, a team admin panel, and centralised billing.
Is my audience's data private?▾
Responses are stored in your private session and are never sold or shared. Participants only provide a display name and their answer — no email or account needed.
