🎤 Run the session

From the first arrival to the last slide, the audience has something to do.

  1. Put a QR code on your slides, or present straight from PollSlide in any browser.
  2. Warm the room up. Light trivia plays on the big screen while people arrive and scan the code.
  3. Ask a poll. The answers arrive on the big screen as people tap.
  4. Open audience questions. People ask from their phones and upvote the ones they want answered, so the best rise to the top.
  5. Finish with a quiz. Game modes and team play turn tables into teams.
  6. Afterwards, send one recap link: the winner, the trickiest question and the highlights.
An international audience? Each phone shows your questions in its own language, and you can read typed answers in yours.

Questions organisers ask

Do people need to install anything?

No. They scan the QR code, or type the code at pollslide.com/join, and answer in their browser.

How many people can join?

The Free plan has a limit on participants, and paid plans do not. The pricing page has the numbers.

What if the venue wifi is bad?

Answers wait on the phone and send themselves when the connection comes back.

Can I use my own slides?

Yes. Keep Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides or a PDF. Put the QR code on a slide, or let the Mac Companion float live results over whatever is on your screen.
