The same steps, in writing
- Open Account settings. In the app, click your avatar at the top right, then “⚙️ Account settings”.
- Change your password. Enter your current password, then the new one twice (at least 8 characters), and click “Change password”. Forgotten your current password? Click “Email me a reset link” — or “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen.
- Change your email address. Enter the new address and your current password, and click “Send confirmation link”. Open the new inbox and click the link in our email. Until you do, keep signing in with your current address.
- What stays the same. Your presentations, results, QR codes, classes and plan are unchanged, and your password stays the same. We also email your old address, so you'll know if anyone else ever tries this.
- Download your data. “⬇ Download my data” saves one file with all your presentations, their questions, and the answers they collected.
- Delete your account. Type DELETE and click “Delete my account permanently”. A paid plan stops renewing — no further charges. This can't be undone, so download your data first if you want to keep it.
Signed in with Google? Your password and email address are managed by your Google account. To use a different address with PollSlide, email [email protected] — we can move all your presentations to a new account for you.
Questions
The confirmation email hasn't arrived
Check spam and promotions folders, then send it again from Account settings. School and work mailboxes sometimes hold emails from new senders — your IT team can let them through, or email [email protected] and we'll help.
I changed my mind about the new address
Click “Cancel” next to the waiting address in Account settings, and don't click the link in the email. Your address stays as it is.
I no longer have access to my old email
Email [email protected]. We'll ask a couple of questions to make sure it's really your account, then change it for you.
I have two accounts and want one
Email [email protected] from both addresses. We can move all your presentations, folders and classes into one account — QR codes and results keep working.
